Go out and experience adventures! Six GEO-adventures have been created at different locations in the GEOPARK Sachsens Mitte. Equipped with a tablet and rucksack, children, young people and families can experience exciting adventures, solve puzzles and learn something about nature and the geology beneath their feet. The GEO-adventures are structured in a similar way to multimedia scavenger hunts or outdoor escape games, in which codes have to be cracked and a mission has to be completed together. But beware, detective skills and teamwork are sometimes required!
The ‘Actionbound’ app enables us to make the GEO-adventures interactive and exciting, so that children and young people become more interested in geology and nature conservation and get excited about their immediate surroundings.
The project "GEO-Abenteuer - Mit Actionbound den GEOPARK Sachsens Mitte entdecken!" was developed in cooperation with the State Foundation for Nature and the Environment and was co-financed on the basis of the budget approved by the members of the Saxon state parliament.
